Skana Aluminum earns environmental certificate from Wisconsin DNR

On March 15th Skana Aluminum became the 105th recipient of the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Voluntary Party Certificate of Completion for environmental work done at its Manitowoc property.

Following a tour with the Secretary of the DNR, Cathy Stepp, Congressman Tom Petri, members of the DNR staff in Green Bay and a presentation by Tom Testwuide, Chairman and CEO, employees and guests enjoyed pizza from the Newton Lake Inn.

Mayor Nickels State of City Address

At Monday's State of the City address at City Hall, Mayor Justin Nickels mentioned the developments at Skana Aluminum, specifically citing the employment numbers since inception.
